Abstract

Los exponentes más antiguos de la arquitectura doméstica camagu¿eyana contienen un inestimable valor vernáculo que singulariza al patrimonio arquitectónico camagu¿eyano a nivel mundial. La presente ponencia desarrolla una valoración crítica de la situación actual de este recurso patrimonial y expone un proyecto de gestión que tiene como objetivo permitir a los habitantes de la auténtica riqueza arquitectónica de Camagu¿ey utilizar sus moradas como fuente de ingresos económicos.The oldest exponents in the Camagu¿ey¿s domestic architecture contain a vernacular inestimable value that singles this building heritage at world level. The present article exposes a critical valuation of the current situation of this patrimonial resource. Besides, it proposes a management project that has as objective to allow the inhabitants of the authentic architectural wealth of Camagu¿ey to use its habitations as source of economic revenues.
