Abstract
El quidditch es un deporte adaptado de la práctica homónima que aparece en la saga literaria de Harry Potter. En Argentina, se juega desde 2006, organizado por la Asociación de Quidditch Argentina (AQArg). El objetivo de este trabajo es analizar las distintas estrategias que llevan adelante sus practicantes argentinos a la hora de presentar el deporte. Esto será abordado a la luz del concepto de identificación y en el marco de los distintos estereotipos existentes en torno al fenómeno del fan, observándose su influencia en el quidditch y su divulgación. Para lograr esto, se realizarán observaciones participantes, entrevistas etnográficas y etnografía virtual, esto último, aspecto clave para pensar el pasado reciente de la práctica, debido a las restricciones de movilidad producto de la pandemia de Covid-19
Quidditch is a sport adapted from the eponymous practice that appears in the Harry Potter literary saga. In Argentina, it has been played since 2006, organized by the Argentine Quidditch Association (AQArg). The objective of this work is to analyze the different strategies carried out by its Argentine practitioners when presenting the sport. This will be approached in light of the concept of identification and within the framework of the different existing stereotypes around the fan phenomenon, observing its influence on Quidditch and it`s divulgation. To achieve this, participant observations, ethnographic interviews and virtual ethnography will be carried out. The last, a key aspect to think about the recent past of the practice, due to the mobility restrictions resulting from the Covid-19 pandemic
