Abstract
There is no doubt that the global pandemic has been a factor of worldwide transformation and so has been for museums. For this reason, it is essential to critically review these transformations looking forward a new museological conception that complements the social and community role that has been developing in museums since the 1960s. It is then necessary to propose the theorization of a new museological model able shape museums as more humanized spaces, with the capacity for individual healing. Through this text, we seek to initiate the exploration towards theoretical-affective possibilities that lead to a natural transformation of museology. This, being aware that we are facing a new world that requires us to be more creative and open in order to strengthen museums that are capable of reaching emotional healing.
