¿Cómo se hicieron los libros en las lenguas originarias de América, especialmente las de México? ¿desde cuándo se publicaron? ¿quiénes los diseñaron? ¿cómo se veían? ¿de qué temas eran? Esas y otras son algunas de las preguntas que se responden en esta obra. La compilación de nueve ensayos da cuenta de un vasto panorama que permite identificar las complejidades y avatares del negocio tipográfico durante el periodo colonial.
How were the books made in the native languages of America, especially those of Mexico? Since when were they published? Who designed them? How did they look? What subject were they? These are some of the questions answered in this work.
