Abstract
The present work is developed in the municipalities of Guapi and Timbiquí, in the Cauca Pacific Coast of Colombia, a region inhabited mostly by black communities. For these communities of rural roots, orality has been an irreplaceable element, from the communicational and discursive point of view, for the recreation of practices and knowledge located producers of the difference and uniqueness of this aquatic space. The moorings between oralitura and production of space stand out, emphasizing the spatial practices that shape this aquatic space, associated with sea and river fishing activities, and the collection of shells. Likewise, it investigates how the black oralitura creates and recreates empathic and imaginary geographical values that give meaning to a logic of the river anchored in the lived space.
