Abstract
La obra analiza la evolución de la regulación legal del proceso monitorio en España, desde su instauración en la Ley 1/2000, de 7 de enero, de Enjuiciamiento Civil y la reforma de octubre de 2015. Todo ello con un amplio elenco de citas jurisprudenciales para analizar los diversos avatares del monitorio en la práctica de los Tribunales, lo que dota al trabajo de investigación de un enfoque y aplicación eminentemente prácticos. Completa la obra el estudio del proceso monitorio europeo y el proceso europeo de escasa cuantía, para las reclamaciones transfronterizas.

Description
The work analyses the evolution of the legal regulation of order for payment proceedings in Spain, from their introduction in Act 1/2000 of 7 January on Civil Procedure to the reform of October 2015. This is undertaken with an extensive body of case-law references in order to examine the various developments of the procedure in judicial practice, thereby endowing the research with a distinctly practical focus and application. The study is complemented by an examination of the European order for payment procedure and the European Small Claims Procedure in relation to cross-border claims.
