Especificidades de las fiestas religiosas a Santa Bárbara y Changó en el municipio de Cruces

Abstract

La investigación se centra en la interpretación de las fiestas donde se le rinde culto a Santa Bárbara y Changó. Se parte de reconocer el insuficiente estudio del sistema de relaciones socioculturales que conforman las prácticas religiosas asociadas a la festividad de Santa Bárbara y Changó en la familia religiosa de Teresa Stable. Se propone como objetivo general analizar, las festividades religiosas a Changó y Santa Bárbara dentro de la Regla de Ocha y el sistema de relaciones socioculturales que se establece en la familia religiosa de Teresa Stable. El estudio realizado toma como base metodológica los elementos ofrecidos por François Houtart en su libro Sociología de la Religión, así como los elementos históricos, católicos y los relacionados con la Regla de Ocha en Cuba que hacen que estas festividades en Cruces tengan especificidades bien marcadas a nivel de país.

The research focuses on the interpretation of religious festivals where Santa Barbara and Chango are worshiped. It starts from recognizing the insufficiend study of the system of sociocultural relations that make up the festival of Santa Barbara and Chango in the religious family of Teresa Stable. It was proposed as a general objective to analize, the religious festivities to Santa Barbara and Chango within the Rule of Ocha and the system of socio ¿ cultural relations that are established in the religious family of Teresa Stable. The study is taking as a methodological basis the elements offered by François Houtart in his book Sociology and Religion, as well as the history, catholic and those related to the Rule of Ocha in Cuba that make these festivities in Cruces have well ¿ marked specificities al the contry level.
