Inspiraciones transdisciplinares para pensar la entrevista en proyectos en torno al trabajo sexual

Abstract

El presente artículo parte de una mirada crítica a la práctica de la entrevista buscando inspiración para establecer pautas éticas en investigaciones que implican la experiencia vivida del trabajo sexual. Desde una mirada anti-disciplinaria, se busca desplazar estrategias hegemónicas hacia horizontes de cuidado y justicia para quienes participan. Se articula a partir de cinco ejes: (1) sensibilidad, silencios y secretos como superficies de resistencia que limitan la transparencia; (2) autoría y autoridad, cuestionando el privilegio epistémico y el uso de la anonimización por defecto, abriendo a coautorías y apariciones consentidas; (3) consentimiento radical para lo cualitativo y lo cuantitativo frente a la datificación sesgada; (4) reflexividad e incomodidad, articuladas mediante la reciprocidad asimétrica y una atención a las posiciones de poder; y (5) economías del intercambio, incluyendo retribuciones, devoluciones y economías de la amistad más allá del momento de la entrevista. Con base en investigaciones ya realizadas, se sugieren procedimientos opacos, contravisuales y low-tech acordes con condiciones precarias y estigmatizadas. El artículo plantea la hipótesis de que la entrevista podría funcionar como espacio de co-producción, refugio, transmisión y transformación, y se ofrece a las comunidades organizadas de profesionales del sexo para su evaluación como prácticas más éticas en investigaciones que las involucran.

This article takes a critical look at the practice of interviewing in the arts, social sciences, and activism, seeking inspiration to establish ethical guidelines for research involving the lived experience of sex work. From a situated and anti-disciplinary perspective, it seeks to shift hegemonic strategies toward horizons of care and justice for those involved. It is structured around five axes: (1) sensitivity, silences, and secrets as surfaces of resistance that limit transparency and demand ethical protection; (2) authorship and authority, questioning epistemic privilege and default anonymity, and opening up to co-authorship and consented appearances; (3) radical consent for the qualitative and quantitative in the face of biased datafication; (4) reflexivity and discomfort, articulated through asymmetrical reciprocity and attention to positions of power; and (5) economies of exchange, including retributions, returns, and economies of friendship beyond the moment of the interview. Based on previous research, opaque, counter-visual, and low-tech procedures are suggested in accordance with precarious and stigmatized conditions. The article hypothesizes that the interview could function as a space for co-production, refuge, transmission, and transformation, and is offered to organized communities of sex workers for their evaluation as more ethical practices in research involving them.
