Abstract
The notion of technological sovereignty intimately relates to the idea of food sovereignty as both promote a vision where resources management should be embedded into social relationships enphasizing the importance of local exchanges and processes of autonomy and solidaritry. Faced with the growing privatization of knowledge and natural resources by copyright laws and patents, both concepts promote the defense of the common and their democratic management by the society.
