Abstract

El yacimiento de Arroyo Villalta fue descubierto y excavado parcialmente durante el año 2004, como consecuencia de la construcción de la Base de Montaje correspondiente a la línea Córdoba-Málaga del tren de alta velocidad. Se localizó en terrenos cercanos a Bobadilla y, su buen estado de conservación ha permitido estudiar un amplio segmento de un alfar romano y una parte de la necrópolis de incineración e inhumación asociada al asentamiento. En este artículo presentamos los primeros datos relativos al ámbito funerario.
The location of Arroyo Villalta was discovered during the year 2004, as consequence of the execution of the construction of the Base of Assembly corresponding to the line Córdoba-Málaga of the high-speed train. It was located in near lands to Bobadilla and, their good conservation state has allowed to study a wide segment of a Roman pottery and a part of the incineration necropolis and burial associated to the establishment. In this paper we present the first relative data to the funeral environment.
