Abstract
El artículo da noticia de nuevas pinturas y grabados que ponen de manifiesto la notable diversificación que alcanzó la producción artística en Italia con motivo de la beatificación del arzobispo Mogrovejo en 1679. Se destaca asimismo el peso que tuvieron en la concepción de esas creaciones iconográficas las instituciones destinatarias, desplazando la atención hacia ellas en detrimento del aspecto devocional.
This article presents new findings on paintings and engravings that represent the remarkable diversity surrounding the artistic work achieved in Italy due to the canonization of Archbishop Mogrovejo in 1679. It also highlights the importance that the institutions concerned had in the conception of these iconographic creations, which became the focus of attention at the expense of its religious aspect.
