La "domus" de la calle Cerro de la Pólvora (Écija, Sevilla)

Abstract

En este artículo describimos la evolución que sufre una domus localizada en la excavación llevada a cabo en la calle Cerro de la Pólvora nº 9-11 de Écija (Sevilla), analizando las transformaciones estructurales de dicha domus suburbana desde su construcción a finales del siglo I o inicios del siglo II d.C. hasta el siglo IV d.C., cuando se amplía la vivienda dotándola de un espacio termal.

This paper describes the process undergone in a domus discovered during the excavation taken place at Cerro de la Pólvora, nº. 9-11 in Écija (Sevilla), the following is an analysis of the structural transformations that took place in this suburban domus since its construction at the end of the 1st century or early 2nd century AD until the 4th century AD, when the house is extended with a thermal space.
