El movimiento social del 15-M: A modo de presentación

Abstract

En mayo de 2011 nace el Movimiento 15M, tras la multitudinaria manifestación convocada por la Plataforma Democracia Real Ya. Desde entonces hemos asistido al desarrollo de un nuevo tipo de reacción política y social, articulada desde la ciudadanía, transversal, apartidista y de carácter pacifista, con un avanzado uso y dominio de Internet y las redes sociales. El movimiento ha madurado, extendiéndose en formas asamblearias por plazas de todo el país, hasta convertirse en fenómeno mundial. La experiencia vivida en España, que unió la Primavera Árabe con la revolución anti-mercados islandesa, se ha convertido en un manual de "cómo hacer una revolución mundial" en lo que parece el ocaso del sistema neoliberal capitalista.The Movement 15M born after the massive demonstrationcalled by the Platform for Real Democracy Now, in May 2011. Sincethen, we have seen the development of a new type of political andsocial reaction, articulated from citizenship, non-related to PoliticalParties, full of pacifist nature, with an advanced use and control of theInternet and social networks. A few months later, the movement hasmatured, extending itself in assemblies across the country to become aglobal phenomenon. The experience in Spain, which joined the ArabSpring with the Icelandic Revolution against bankers, could besynthesized in a manual of "how to make a world revolution" in thetwilight of the neoliberal capitalist system.
