Attraverso l’analisi dei lavori di orefici, argentieri e cristallai per il Duomo di Milano, l’arca con il corpo di san Carlo Borromeo e un Tronetto espositorio, il contributo prende in considerazione i temi dei costi, delle pratiche realizzative e dei ruoli delle opere orafe tra XVI e XVII secolo.
