Una banda de chicas: la cumbia feminista en la escena musical de mujeres

Abstract

El objetivo de este artículo es analizar cualitativamente el discurso de un grupo de músicas a las que se las identifica como parte de un mismo acontecimiento musical: la cumbia feminista. Por eso, se parte de la hipótesis de que es posible vincularlas mediante diferentes dimensiones: el vínculo con los movimientos feministas, la concepción de la cumbia, el rol del baile y la profesionalización en tanto mujeres músicas. A partir de un análisis sociodiscursivo de entrevistas, se obtuvo como resultado cómo esas dimensiones se manifiestan discursivamente en sus dichos y prácticas.The mainof this article is analyze qualitatively the discourse of a group of musicians who are identified as part of amusical event: feminist cumbia. Therefore, it is based on the hypothesis that it is possible to link them through different dimensions: therelationshipwith feminist movements, the cumbia ́s conception, the dance practice and the professionalization as women musicians. From a socio-discursive analysis of interviews, the result obtained was how these dimensions are manifested discursively in their sayings and practices.
